Wool Exchange Programme

We place unwanted wool in the hands of knitters who want to knit for the NICU!

The idea is that recipients then donate their knitting back to Premmie Knitting Club. If you have wool to donate or you’d like to receive wool, see below for details.

Are you a knitter wanting to use donated wool?

1. PKC posts a gallery of the wool that is available as we receive it on our facebook page.

2. Simply comment and PKC will contact you to confirm.

3. Once you’ve received the wool, you can use it to knit during our 2021 appeal and donate your knitting back, it’s as simple as that!

Where possible we like to connect local wool donations up with a local knitter, eg: if we have a wool donation in Tauranga then we like to find a local Tauranga knitter to use the wool.

If you have wool to donate, we’d love to have it! We accept both merino and acrylic wool. Please email us to arrange the donation.
